Update…

May 10

Jade made counts this week, so we are back in the hospital for 5 days of chemo. Her hair is supposed to start falling out again with this round of chemo. :( It has grown in a lot over the past month, but Jade has decided that when we get home on Saturday she wants to shave her head again!

Also, as I told you all before Jade was interviewed by ABC 7 news last month. Well today she was all over TV on commercials for Trevor’s Treasures!!! It will be on tomorrow evening at 5:00pm! She is pretty excited about it! :)

    Jade, Sue Fant called me tonight about seeing commercials for the interview with Trevor and his “Trevor’s Treasures” that will be on TV Tuesday night.     We enjoyed our visit with you.It was good to see you were in such great spirits, especially when you were batting the glove around that your mother inflated for you. Keep up the good spirit and we will see you again.

    Jade: It has been so nice seeing you the past few days you have been in the hospital. You certainly are full of energy! I hope you have fun with the balloon animal kit I brought you. I just had to buy it when I saw it had a pump to blow up the balloons, because I was getting lightheaded from you making me blow up the rubber gloves you have in your room! You were certainly twisting those balloons into all kinds of shapes. As we talked about, the one you gave to your doctor looked like the swan in the pamphlet that came with the kit, and you weren’t even looking at that. Unfortunately, we broke a few balloons and scared your doctor and the nurses! But you really didn’t have to make a point of telling your doctor when I broke one!! I’ll be sure to give the balloon you made for Ana and Riley to them tonight. If you don’t leave the hospital until later tomorrow afternoon, I’ll try to get over to see you again. Take care and I love you.

    You are a movie star! The kids and I loved seeing you on your video clip.
